about

BEYOND THE CEDAR MOON

lyrics

In the seasons of the cedar
as the wheel turns round and round
a quiet voice is calling you
tell me can you hear the sound?
of wind blowing through her branches
or the song of Raven's wing?
But even as they're tumbling down
my heart begins to sing.

(Chorus)
Givers of long life.
Teachers of all that's true.
I hear you calling
Beyond the Cedar Moon.

You can see it in the distance
in shapes both bright and dark.
Where once there stood a cedar tree,
now there's a hole in my heart.
It's the sacred fire of everyone
that's here to lose or gain.
I only hope that we're in time
to save the pieces that remain. (Chorus)

(Bridge)
The Cedar calls us. We must hear
so that rivers and streams can flow clean and clear.
When the trees are cut, fish and waters die.
it can't be sustained and i wonder why
we take what we want and we call it love.
What were we thinking of?

(Instrumental break)
(Chorus)

(Chorus 2)
Givers of long life,
Creatures of green and blue.
I hear you singing
Beyond the cedar Moon.
I hear you calling,
Beyond the Cedar Moon.

I hear you calling.
Cedar Moon.
